People have always gathered to connect, celebrate and commiserate over their favorite fermented beverages. The COVID era has been no different, although our customers — wineries, breweries, distilleries and others — have faced significant challenges in meeting the needs of their customers over the past year.
Tasting rooms, restaurants, bars and liquor stores were shuttered for varying amounts of time. Consumers abandoned their offices and worked from home. Dining out disappeared, and then reemerged in novel ways. Folks found occasions to pop a cork, can or bottle at home. And through it all, our customers met their customers wherever they were, from sidewalk dining tables to their own front doorsteps.
